Lake occupies about 197 hectares area located on the way between Surabaya – Ponorogo or it takes about 90 minutes drive from Surabaya. It is located at Grati Tunon village, Grati subdistrict. It's about 16 km east of Pasuruan. The lake has mount Tengger’s beautiful scenery. According to a legend, the origin of Grati Lake resembles to the origin of Pening Lake.

It has available recreational facilities such as boats and floating fishing net pond (keramba apung) used for breeding fresh water fish such as gurami, mujair, nila merah, etc. Ranu lake produces lempuk fish (a kind of small anchovy), which only can be found in this place.

The visitor can enjoy their time in this lake by doing some activity such as; fishing, walking around, and the others. This lake is the biggest lake in Pasuruan and often visited by local tourists, just to show the fisherman harvest their fishes.

Semeru Lake

Another naturally scenic pool in Lumajang is Semeru Lake. It is Located in Nguter village, in Pasirian district, about 21 km from Lumajang. It has clear and hygienic water. Usually people visit on Sundays and on holidays occasion, especially on Idul Fitri and Lebaran Ketupat. The facilities that available include changing rooms, a garden, and parking area.

Angklung

Angklung is a typical art of Banyuwangi. The players are 12 to 14 people. The musical instruments are made of bamboo. Angklung has four varieties; angklung caruk, angklung tetak, angklung paglak, and angklung blambangan.

Angklung Caruk
The word of “caruk” comes from the native Banyuwangi word that means “meeting”. Two groups meet and compete to play angklung together which is called angklung caruk. The groups play angklung together to show their ability and skill to one another and also to the spectators. There are usually three groups of spectators. One group is supportive to one angklung group and the other group is supportive to the second angklung group. The third group of spectators is neutral. As the result, the performance becomes very merry because of the tendencies of the supporters.
Angklung Tetak
The word tetak come from the language that means “guarding in the night”. Angklung tetak can be a tool that is used to help guard the night. Angklung tetak became famous in 1950. At its inception the Angklung tetak grew at the village of Glagah. In 1974, it was being perfected especially relating to its tone.
Angklung Paglak



Paglak is a simple hut which is built in the rice field or near a settlement. The paglak is built from bamboo and it is built about 10 meters above the land. So, if someone want to enter the hut, he must climb first to reach it. The function of this building is as a place to guard the rice paddy from the birds. Farmers usually take care of their rice paddy while playing the musical instrument of angklung in the paglak. Because of this, the art is called angklung paglak. A long time ago, before the harvest, the farmers organized angklung paglak performances.
Angklung Blambangan
Angklung Blambangan is an improvisation of angklung caruk. The musical instruments include the gong and a gandrung musical instrument.

Purwodadi Botanical Garden

Purwodadi Botanical garden is a branch of Bogor botanical Garden that has managed by LIPI (Indonesian Scientific Institution). In this area visitor can see various collections of scare and dry plant. Banyu Biru natural swimming pool has situated at Sumberejo village, Winongan sub district. Formerly this swimming pool has called Telaga Wilis. On Friday many visitor go there and take a bath because according to the legend, whoever takes a bath in this swimming pool will stay young.

Penataran Temple

Penataran is the largest and most important Hindu temple complex in East Java. It lies just 10 Kilometers north of Blitar on the lower slopes of Mt. Kelud. It had said that this temple was dedicated to the Siva and use for at least three hundred years, from the 12th to 15th centuries. Most of the buildings, which can be seen today, however, were constructed during Majapahit's golden century.

The layout of the temple is similar to that found in the Balinese Pura today. A number of small buildings are scattered within a sacred, walled enclosure, with the largest and most important temple at the rear of the complex, Hindu legends, among them the Ramayana epic, are carved in relief on the temple walls and terrace foundations.

Poloagung waterfall is located in Sukorejo village, Sumber Wringin district, about 40 km east of Bondowoso. It is near to plantation area of society around. It is a new tourist site, which was built and developed in 2003, by the Kanparsenibud (Tourism, Art and Culture Government of Bondowoso regency).

The waterfall height is about 30 meters and it has natural and beautiful scenery. There are green valleys and small meadows. It is equipped with three shelters that are positioned around the area. The visitor can reach the waterfall area, but should walk very carefully.

Watu Ulo Beach

Wau Ulo is one of the tourist sites which lies on the Indonesian ocean. There is beautiful scenery at this site and it is the perfect place to enjoy the sea. It is called "Watu Ulo" by the natives because they believe that in the past there was a snake who was becoming a spirit. Soekarno Grave
